Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
ShareCerti sells digital credit packs that are consumed when you issue certificates or badges. Because the service is delivered digitally and credits can be used instantly, our refund policy is designed to be fair while accounting for digital consumption.
Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Razorpay within the timelines stated below.
2. Credit Pack Refunds
Unused credits — eligible for refund
- You may request a full refund of a credit pack purchase within 7 calendar days of the transaction date.
- The request is only eligible if none of the credits from that specific purchase have been used to issue certificates or badges.
- One refund per user account per rolling 30-day period.
Partially used credits — not eligible
- If you have used any credits from a pack, that pack purchase is not eligible for a refund.
- We do not offer partial refunds for remaining credits within a used pack.
After 7 days — not eligible
- Refund requests made more than 7 days after the purchase date will not be processed.
- Credits do not expire while your account is active.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
- Credits that have been used (even partially) to issue certificates or badges.
- Purchases older than 7 calendar days.
- Credits gifted as part of a promotional offer or free allocation.
- Accounts that have been suspended for violating our Terms of Service.
- Situations where the refund request cannot be verified due to missing transaction details.
4. Failed Payments
If your payment fails or is declined, no credits are added to your account and no charge is made. If you see a charge for a failed payment on your bank statement, it is likely a temporary hold that will be released automatically within 5–7 business days by your bank or card issuer. Contact us if the issue persists.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email us at support@sharecerti.com with the following details:
- Your registered email address.
- The transaction ID or Razorpay order ID (available on your Billing page under Payment History).
- The reason for your refund request.
We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
6. Refund Timeline
- Approved refunds are processed within 3 business days of approval.
- Razorpay initiates the refund to your original payment method — card, UPI, or net banking.
- Refunds typically reflect in your account within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
- ShareCerti does not charge any fee to process a refund.
7. Account Closure
If you close your account, unused credits are forfeited. We recommend using all credits before requesting account deletion. Requests for refund of unused credits at the time of account closure are reviewed case-by-case and at our discretion.
8. Disputes
If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@sharecerti.com before raising a dispute with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving genuine billing issues promptly. For unresolved disputes, refer to our Terms & Conditions.
