Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using ShareCerti ("the Service") at sharecerti.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ShareCerti is a cloud-based SaaS platform that allows users to create, design, issue, and share digital certificates and badges. Certificates are delivered to recipients via email and accessible through unique, verifiable links.

The Service is operated by ShareCerti (support email: support@sharecerti.com).

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Issuance of certificates and badges consumes credits. New accounts receive a free allocation of credits. Additional credits must be purchased through credit packs.

• Credit pack prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. By purchasing credits you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service.
• Credits are applied to your account immediately upon successful payment verification.
• Credits do not expire while your account is active.
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
• Refund terms for unused credits are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Issue certificates that are fraudulent, misleading, or impersonate another organisation.
• Violate any applicable Indian or international law or regulation.
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes any intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform or its security measures.
• Use the Service for spam or unsolicited bulk communications.
• Resell or commercialise access to the platform without our written permission.

• You retain ownership of the certificate designs and content you create.
• By uploading content, you grant ShareCerti a limited licence to display and process it solely for delivering the Service.
• ShareCerti's branding, platform code, and default templates are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reused.

ShareCerti provides the technical tools for creating and verifying certificates. We do not guarantee the legal or academic recognition of certificates issued through the platform. It is the issuer's responsibility to ensure that the certificate content is accurate and appropriate for its intended purpose.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect the Service. We will provide advance notice for scheduled downtime where possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, ShareCerti shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or reputation. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time by emailing support@sharecerti.com. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. On termination, unused credits are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karnataka, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a site notice at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
